More about Joseph Domask

Founder and CEO of DoMar

Dr. Domask is the Founder and CEO of DoMar, a learning and leadership development consulting and coaching business. He brings over 22 years of experience developing and leading high performing individuals, teams, and organizations in the private sector, federal government, academia, and non-profit sector.

Joseph’s experience includes managing small and large teams and driving large-scale enterprise initiatives across highly diverse institutional environments. In previous roles Joseph established and built new internal learning and development (L&D) organizational units and led these new teams in successfully designing, delivering, and evaluating broad portfolios of employee development services to workforces ranging from 35,000 to over 70,000 employees.

Over the course of his career, Joseph has acquired extensive experience leading design teams, setting forth and implementing strategic visions and strategic plans, convening and consulting diverse internal and external stakeholders, and managing consultant teams. He also deep expertise in facilitating workshops and seminars, providing one-on-one leadership coaching, and delivering professional development opportunities that have a direct impact on employee engagement and organizational performance.

Joseph earned his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Miami and B.S. from the University of Michigan. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and running trails all around the DC area.  He is an avid ultra-marathon distance runner, occasional triathlete, and recovering rugby player.
